About This Vendor
When the late Pope John Paul II visited the Philippines in 1995 for the World Youth Day, he envisioned a shrine for Jesus. The Archdiocesan Shrine of Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life is then the fulfillment of that dream. The project was spearheaded by the then Archbishop of Manila, the late Jaime L. Cardinal Sin, DD. His love for the youth, which he shared with the Holy Father, urged him to push for the construction of the Shrine of Jesus. But it was the benevolent hearts of Shoe Mart Group of Companies’ founders Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sy Jr. that has lead the Archbishop’s dreams to materialize.
Beneath the Church is a function hall that can be used for wedding receptions called Pope John Paul Youth Center, Shrine Of Jesus Hall.
